12 to 9 Months
 
Decide on your budget, what kind of wedding (formal, informal, etc). Visit your clergy to select date & time.
Choose a location of ceremony. Set tentative budget.
Decide how expenses will be shared.
Consult with New York City Sounds Production 
 
for a wedding consulting package. Shop together for wedding ring. Determine the size of Guest List. 
Note: book this as soon as ceremony date is set).
Choose your attendance & how many people are you going to invite.

Sit with finance’ and draw up an invitation list.
Select and book your caterer for the reception.
Select and book your transportation.
Select and book your photographer.
Select and book your videographer.
Select and book your entertainment ( dj , band ,etc.).
Select and book your florist.
Select wedding attendants.
Choose your bridal gown and headpiece.
Begin to choose your reception music.
 
9 to 6 Months
 
Arrange limousine service.
Choose and reserve the en's wedding attire.
Start addressing invitations and announcement. (Mail invitations six weeks prior to the ceremony). Design a map to direct guests to the ceremony and reception sites. (To be inserted with wedding invitations). Purchase accessories such as a ring pillow, toasting goblets, guest registry.
Confirm all details with your hired professionals.
Confirm ceremony details.
Arrange rehearsal details.
Plan rehearsal dinner.
Plan attendant's parties.
Make appointment with your hairdresser.
Schedule final fitting.
Schedule attendant's final fitting.
Arrange accommodations for out-of-town attendants and guest.
Finalize honeymoon plans.
Have physical exam.
 
 6 to 1 Month
 
Select and order invitations and other related stationery needs.
Plan honeymoon.
Help mothers select their dresses.
Ensure that all bridal attire has been ordered.
Begin shopping for trousseau.
Check blood test marriage license requirements.
Discuss where you'll live after the wedding.
Look for a place to live.
Shop for home furniture.
Experiment with hairstyles and makeup.
Select baker and order wedding cake.
Make an appointment with the organist-discuss music for the ceremony.

Send wedding announcement to local paper. Purchase gift for fiancé. Have attendants' parties. Purchase going away outfit. Finalize rehearsal dinner details. 
 
1 Month
 
Get blood test and marriage license.
Have your final dress fitting.
Have formal bridal portrait done.
Have final fitting for wedding attendants.
Select gifts for wedding participants.
Send wedding announcement to local paper.
Purchase gift for fiancé.

Purchase going away outfit.
Finalize rehearsal dinner details.
 
On the Wedding Day
 

Remain calm and relaxed. Eat well. Don't forget the rings and marriage license. Start dressing 2.5 hours before the ceremony.

If pictures are taken prior to the ceremony, the entire wedding party needs to be dressed and ready 2 hours before the ceremony.

Mail wedding announcements and thank you notes.

Have music start thirty minutes before the ceremony begins.

Have guests seated as they arrive.

Groom's parents should be seated 5 minutes before the ceremony begins.

The bride's mother should be seated immediately before the processional.
